THE POSITION

As a Breakfast Host at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam North Riverside, you will be the welcoming face of our breakfast service and you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This part-time position requires dedication and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Breakfast Host that enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and an international team, serving many different kinds of guests! In the hotel, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as lunches and dinners for groups, for our staff canteen and we have two meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Our restaurant, Express Café & Bar Noord, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has 60 covers. For our lunch and dinner menu, we work together with local suppliers from Amsterdam Noord. Your day to day

• Ensure the breakfast area is set up and clean, ensuring all items are ready for service.

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the breakfast area, assisting with seating and providing information about breakfast options.

• Maintain open communication with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of service and relay guest feedback to enhance their experience.

• Work closely with other breakfast staff to maintain efficiency and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

What we need from you

• You are available part-time hours from 06:30 to 10:00 on weekdays and 06:30 to 11:00 on weekends;

• While previous hospitality or food service experience is preferred, it's not mandatory;

• Are passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards;

• Have a creative and warm personality and know how to connect everyone and everything;

• Are representative and guest oriented;

• Speak excellent English, Dutch language is a plus.
