What will your role be?

Our National Customer Supply & Wholesale Manager plays an integral role in our business and acts as the link between our Sales (Commercial) and Supply teams to ensure that not only are our Wholesale Customer groups are supported through best-in-class customer relationship management and execution but the broader customer groups including the Nationals have uninterrupted supply of products through JIT replenishment practices. The role is a critical leader in our business playing an active influencing role in our S&OP process to ensure that a customer first mentality is at the heart of our planning decisions. Reporting to the Head of Independents & Wholesale and leading a team of 4 direct reports and 3 indirect reports, our Customer Supply & Wholesale Manager sits on our leadership team and is integral in creating our dedicated but connected culture.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Lead the delivery of the Wholesale Customer Annual Operating Plan, including trading terms negotiation, ensuring Stock on Hand & Days of Cover;

  • Lead and motivate a team of direct and indirect reports to ensure full delivery of business objectives and customer objectives including Wholesale Executive and VRPs;

  • Accountable for delivering customer AOP Financial, SOH, DFC and service metrics.

  • Leadership of Endeavour Drinks and Coles Liquor customer replenishment team, including accountable for relationship management with Customer Replenishment Managers enabling KPI delivery;

  • Supporting development of Indies/Wholesale channel culture and engagement via leadership within Independents Leadership team, leading broader team engagement, talent and direction setting; and

  • Set the direction as the Customer Supply Voice across our planning business partners to influence timing, stock allocation and support the coordination of the supply communications and actions across our business.

  • Full accountability for Diageo Wholesale Directs forecast process and outputs (BUF, Financial, Lag 1 & 3 measures). You will be responsible for execution of Wholesaler trading terms, and accountable for executing the re-negotiation of terms across the wholesale channel landscape.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Proven experience in either a channel leadership or customer supply leadership position, having lead a team of impactful and passionate experts;

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, ideally with experience in customer facing roles previously (either in sales or supply); and

  • Proven ability to coach and lead others to influence behaviour and outcomes.
