Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an IT Audit Analyst with a strong knowledge of IT SOX controls. This position is created to backfill for a colleague who is going out on leave. The role is a 12-month contract with the potential of becoming a full-time position and it is in St. Louis, operating on a hybrid in office model.

Responsibilities:

• Performing testing of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC).

• Assisting in the development of the annual audit plan.

• Conducting assigned IT audits such as change management, privileged access reviews, self-assessments, and data center audits.

• Incorporating the use of technology, audit tools, and techniques when deemed cost-effective.

• Assisting in coordination with external auditors and Panasonic on IT-related matters.

• Collecting audit evidence and preparing appropriate documentation for the audit process.

• Reviewing and assessing SSAE 18 SOC Reports from third-party vendors.

• Assisting in evaluating, monitoring, and remediating deficiencies and audit findings.

  Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems is preferred.

• 2 years of experience working with IT SOX controls or exposure to SOX compliance.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control frameworks including COSO, COBIT, NIST, and ISO.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Skilled in documenting and communicating audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.

• Ability to execute tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
