Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and to develop a deep understanding of our business operations and financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

  • Assist in analyzing financial data and trends to support business decision-making.

  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management.

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial results.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Support the annual budgeting process by gathering relevant data and assisting in the preparation of budget templates.

  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and models to predict future financial performance.

  • Monitor budget adherence and provide regular updates to management.

Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting standards.

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.

Cross-Functional Support:

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide analytical support.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as requested by senior management.

  • Provide support for special projects and strategic initiatives.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles.

  • Internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of financial modeling techniques.

  • Experience with financial analysis tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
