Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that the floor is kept clear of any debris that would hinder the selecting process.

• Cleaning the break rooms.

• Cleaning all Bathrooms

• Maintain all offices - Empty baskets, vacuum, windows, and wash floors;

• Cleans outside barrels and front parking lot

• Maintain the breakroom supplies (order and keep full including milk and cream)

• Maintain the office cleaning supplies

• Ensure that the selecting isles are aligned, and product is brought forward.

• Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup. Ensure the scrubber is cleaned at the end of each shift. Cleaning the break room.

• Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoups damage and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and NDCP food safety requirements.

• Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies.

• Power wash trash receptacles, general cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick- up and use of compactor, may be required to work with cleaning chemicals.

• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

• The safe operation of Fork truck, clamp truck, Floor scrubber, Battery changing station & ride on/walk behind pallet jacks.

• Handcart repairs – driver’s delivery handcarts such as broken wheel, handle or plate

• Small facility repairs – building repairs as broken faucet, patching wall, painting, etc.

• Assist with various warehouse functions when necessary (selection, loading, forklift work etc)

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to follow simple directions

• Must be punctual and reliable

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to work without supervision

• Ability to work flexible schedule

• Attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds repetitively

  EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience

• General repair work experience preferred

• Carpentry experience preferred

• Minor mechanical experience preferred
