Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Performer II at Motiongate - Dubai Parks & Resorts . In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Performers will require to perform in various shows in the park that will involve dancing, acting, character and escorting.

• Accurately portray the assigned animated character by adopting its movements, mannerisms, and personality traits.

• Create an immersive and entertaining experience for park guests through authentic character portrayal. Appears in photo locations and host duties.

• Participate in scheduled performances, parades, and shows, following a predetermined script or storyline as necessary.

• Execute choreographed movements and actions during live performances to entertain the audience.

• Warm up duties.

• Responsible to follow directed performance guidelines and techniques established by Entertainment.

• Responsible for motivating and entertaining guests as directed by Entertainment Management.

• Accountable for following costume care guidelines in order to maintain the integrity of the performance and provides communication to management regarding costume issues or concerns.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established DPR policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Assist in crowd control during busy periods to maintain order and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.

• Interface with DPR internal and external clients in a professional and courteous manner.

• Execute backstage tasks as outlines in daily schedule.

Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• High School, higher or equivalent preferred

• Three years equivalent theme park, theatrical, cruise line

• 1 year experience with a professional theme park/theatre industry preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Performing capabilities as a dancer, character, and /or character escort.
